    Needed: photo of 1965 AC RC-26 15# surge cap

    Help! I need a high quality photo of a production 1965 AC RC-26 15# surge cap (with open arrow) for inclusion in the upcoming 1965 TIM JG 7th Ed. Photo can be taken of the cap on or off the car...preferably off the car. Please email high quality photo to me at: astein1066@msn.com.

          I have my restored original RC-26 surge tank cap. If you can wait until later today, I'll get some pictures of it and send to you. It was restored by the late Joe Perri. It is fresh as I have not put it back on the car since it came back from Joe.

                  tony: can u define "open arrow" ? is what u r looking for an arrow that is open on its end?

                          Hi Mike. I've attached a photo showing the open arrow feature. Starting in 1966, the arrow head had a line from corner to corner of the arrow head. The one featured in the current 1965 book has the 1966-style closed arrow.
