Does anyone know where I can purchase a quality rebuilt rear end with the correct numbers for my l79 1966?

Americas Finest Corvettes in California claims to have what I need btu I do not know if they have a good reputation.

My opinion it is best to find the correct date and ratio desired and then have it rebuilt by a reliable source (see DB posts)

I have a couple What date you looking for? What ratio??

I would contact Ikerds in Indiana or Bairs in Pennsylvania.

I used Ikerds as well, I think they had their available dates/codes online... I also had them do a complete rear end assembly for me (1966 L79 3.36 posi). Bairs also has a good stock of dated rear end housings as indicated above.
