    Nowhere in your great catalog of column restoration photos does it show the metal clip in Larry’s first photo. Am I correct in assuming that the ‘66 steering column you restored was missing that clip? Interestingly, the ‘66 JG has no mention of that clip.

      Gary, I forget. I may have missed that one when I did the body-off on that 66. I only had to replace the frame and a few other tasks I saw needed fixing.

      Is this the hole, down the mast jacket left side?

        I think the clip might be part of the factory wiring /turn signal harness and that is why it is not listed.

          Bob, Yes that makes sense. You can see part of it in the lower connector pictured here...
