67 AIR 427/400 Spark plug wire position

Does the spark plug wires go between AIR tubes and block or do they go out side the AIR tubes to spark plugs? Can not find any pictures to show how they are run.

If you have Nolan Adams' Restoration guide, look at the pictures on page 413 (bottom right)/414(bottom left). Though the pictures are for a 427/390, that should be the same as yours and it appears that the plug wires go between the AIR tubes and the block.
