Of even for the last few decades. People have short memories and forget about extreme weather events. I recall returning from Lake Powell to Phoenix' Skyharbor airport to fly back to LA. The 122F temperature was a record setting three sigmal event, June 1991, 30 years ago.

Yes, and we AGU members have discussed this, and as you might expect with scientists, not all would agree with the entire statement. Lively debate is still happening amongst our membership, the science is not settled, as science has a way of not being......

NCRS has a sense of humor encouraging its mostly senior citizen members to drive their half-century old cars with no AC on a cross country road trip through the desert in July.
