Ma6 dual disc clutch

I have aquired a ma6 dual disc clutch to install in a 68 BB. Does anyone have install instructions for this clutch system. Thanks

I don't think there's anything very much different about MA-6 installation than a single disc clutch except that you have to arrange the discs and plates in the proper order. Use a 10 spline transmission input shaft to keep them all in place just like you would for a single disc.

By the way, you realize that the MA-6 was never originally installed on any 1968? They were optional only for 1969 with L-71/L-89 and standard for 1971 LS-6 with 4 speed. The clutch discs were different for those two applications, though, because 1969 was 10 spline while 1971 was 26 spline.

Thanks Joe . I was concerened about the possible shimming of the floating disc attached to the pressure plate tabs.
