    1967 Fuel Pump 40482

I am looking for a replacement pump as I am trying to get my car ready for judging in September - most online show out of production. If anyone is aware of a member that reconditions fuel pumps please let me know.

    Thank you

If you're referring to an original style AC 40482 fuel pump with the "AC" logo, those have been out-of-production for a VERY long time. AC ceased manufacture of mechanical type fuel pumps many years before they even ceased to exist as a manufacturing entity. You can still find some on eBay (for Big $$$$). There are at least 2 there right now.

Otherwise, generic 40482 fuel pumps (which is what the AC boxed pumps actually were after AC manufacture ended) are pretty easy to find as available from Carter and Airtex. In configuration they are very similar to the original AC pumps.

Joe, what does a 40170 fit? It has all cast parts. How about a 40018 with all cast parts & AC on top & bottom? These are both new. Ken
