    '57 Mike Hunt Data

Mike Hunt produced several data reports and I have most of them. I am looking for the report for '57 that lists them by VIN number, engine/transmission configuration, color, etc. I have this for '56 for those who submitted the data, but don't know if a '57 report of the same was completed before Mikes' untimely death. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am guessing Jerry Bramlett will have the report.

I will try to add what I have to the DBoRD Sticky. On the road with iffy WiFi so I hope it works.

Edit. No Go. My cell is ok over 4G data but files are on the laptop external drive. I'll try another time.

PS Garry, the 57 report lists by vin and color only, not transmission. I don't recall seeing trans data before.

                        Re: '57 Mike Hunt Data

Mr. Hunt had a way with his words back then which are thought provoking now:

"Throughout history young men have had their adventures, sowed their oats, and earned their legends. Within the past thousand years or so, the growth of central government has made possible ever-more-pervasive methods and degrees of population control. In many lands, only a limited array of adventures are available to a young man. Too much government control. Too litt1e personal freedom. Too many limits on the human spirit.

The 1957 Corvette was a Freedom Machine. Back in the Summer of '57, thousands of drivers sat in those cars, looked out over those curvaceous front ends, turned those ignition keys, fired-up those 283" motors, heard the burble of exhaust pipes. What a Freedom Machine!"
