I have two 942 manifolds. One has 902/942 on the left front and 901/942 on the right front. The second has only 902/942 on the left side only. Which one is correct for 1963? They both have the chock tube. Thanks in advance.

Re: 1963 FI left manifold
If they are assembly line parts there will be a cast date on the inboard side. Depending on the amount of rust deterioration you may be able to read the date and go from there. If the date is on the outboard side they are likely service parts.- Top

Re: 1963 FI left manifold
Jerry,
My Mar64 has the 902/942 on left & 901/942 on right
along with a part number on left
It should be an original however NO date codes anywhere.
This may not help, AlanAttached Files- Top

Re: 1963 FI left manifold
Dan- I am in no way an "expert" on this or anything else for that matter, but I have had, observed, or heard about at least a couple hundred of these 2.5" rams horn manifolds-(901's,902's, as well as 3846563's); over the last 50 years, and I have yet to see or hear of one with a cast date.
However- 65 ser. #2 was an FI car, and had it's vin derivative stamped on the 902 manifold.
Respectfully
E.J.
