If I understand correctly in 1972 GM installed the improved A6 compressor that featured an integral superheat switch (Compressor Cut-Out Switch) and this carried over to 1973. Part of this system is the Thermal Limiter, on my 73 there are three (3) wire's;
1) Dark Green - Goes to the ??????????????
2) Dark Green - Goes to the

A6 Compressor Clutch
3) Black - Goes to the A6 Compressor Integral Superheat Switch
I have looked high and low through all my manuals (several), Google etc. and cannot find a 1973 Corvette RPO C60 wiring diagram.
What started all this is I was working around the AC Evap area and noticed a relay looking plug thing (Thermal Limiter) didn't look right and further investigation proved that "Bubba" had been working in this area (see pictures).
I can only assume that the AC system at one point was not operating as installed and Bubba found wire in his toolbox to fix that problem. Question is did he do this because the integral superheat switch was bad or was the thermal limiter bad?
I'm currently working through a upcoming engine rebuild so I haven't even touched the AC system other than the prior owner saying it worked and was converted over to R-134. My intention is to put it back to R-12 after the engine rebuild.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on what Bubba did and where do I find a C60 wiring diagram? I did locate a correct GM
Thanks
Dennis

thermal limiter and have ordered that.
