    Classic Car Affirmation Service

I saw this in a Hemmings Corvette for sale ad today. Has anyone heard of this company or type of service?

Al Greening is a well known and respected individual in documenting the authenticity of stamp pads. His services are by no means inexpensive but excellence doesn't come cheap.

Used Al Greening's service in the past and IMHO worth every penny. He also confirms trim tag, protect-o-plate and some document authenticity.

        It is Grenning, not greening.

I have known Al for over 20 years and have used his services in 6 of my cars. He has been BG head stamp judge for years and co wrote the
trim tag book with Roy Sinor that NCRS publishes. Best source for authentication of key components in C1,C2,C3 corvettes.

              Mark,

Look in the Driveline and you will see that CCAS and Al Grenning are the same entity and run large ads in every issue.

I've tried to reach Al for the last few weeks to obtain the submission documentation for my 1963. He hasn't responded. Is Al still in business? Just curious.

                    Thanks

Yes, he is still in business. I received the CCAS certificate for my engine stamp pad two weeks ago. Send him an email at ccas4@aol.com. Not sure, but he may be busy with the National Convention going on right now.

                        Thanks David,

I did send him a couple of emails through his website. I'll contact him after the National Convention.

He knows his stuff. He used my '61 as an example of what to look for on a C1 at Bloomington Gold last year.

I just received my Affirmation Certificate from Al on my 1963. Very satisfied with his service. In fact, I had a couple of questions and instead of just responding to my emails, he called me directly and we discussed my questions very effectively. I highly recommend Al to anyone
