Harry Sadlock question: Blackout on engine compartment clips attached w/ pop rivets
The mounting bar with the pop rivets or no rivets was probably added while the car was on the line, thus no blackout on the pop rivets

they where installed before body paint. so not sure how they would be involved with black out. -

In my '66, L36 w/AC (St. Louis car) it would seem the J clips applied with pop rivets (drip rails, battery clips) were applied PRIOR to blackout procedure. When I removed the clips there was no paint under the clip.
