    "Stove black" finish

The judging guide stipulates "stove black" finish on the 63 master cylinder. Any advice on how to achieve this?

    Regards,

Use a rattle can of flat black spray paint, and don't try to make it pretty. Just do a haphazard job. Thin and even bare spots are normal. I just did a distributor housing this weekend, same way.

I was proud of what a tacky looking 10 second job it was.
