58 radiator

Is a 58 radiator supposed to be painted gloss black including the core or just the top and bottom. I just had mine repaired and the core was not painted. I want to make sure I do it right. Howard Hiller 46797

It's supposed to be gloss black. I used Quanta's Gloss Black paint. It's pretty durable.

should the entire radiator including the core be painted? The reason I'm asking is when I got this radiator the top, bottom and side brackets was painted black but the core had very little or no paint on it. My judging guide says it should be gloss black but doesn't go into any detail.

Entire should be gloss black, everything.
