    1964 seats

Do/can the seats mount/bolt on top of the carpeting or do I have to make the cut/slice in the carpeting so the frames sit on top of the insulation? Thanks in advance, Jack J.

1964 frames/tracks are bolted directly to the floor. The TIM&JG has photos of the appropriate carpet cutouts.

        Jack,
"so the frames sit on top of the insulation" The insulation is attached to the carpet. Just mentioned in case yours is not.
Here is an original carpet, coming apart a little after 50+ years.
