    1966 early 427 L36 TI Coil #'s?

    In the 6th addition JM page 123 it indicates that 427 390hp TI (K66) coils as being a #210 4sp for EARLY cars and #231/#261 4sp for non-early ... so what is early? a VIN change over range or production date change over?

      Hi Peter, My Nov. 5, 1965 built 390HP TI came with a 231 coil. I still have the original coil although I’m running a 207 coil at this time. Hope this helps.
