As a relatively new NCRS member I've learned a lot from reading John Hinckley's articles on tuning, etc., originally published in "Corvette Enthusiast" magazine. I wish John well and wish that I could meet him one day.

An amazing guy, I can't count the instances of heated debates on some aspect or other about these cars on that "other" forum and then there would be a post bearing that legendary moniker (JohnZ) and he'd straighten everybody out in a couple of sentences. Never failed.

Like others I’m relatively new to the corvette world however, while completing a frame off restoration on my 67 I quickly realized who the “go-to” experts were for accurate information and John was clearly at the top of that list. My tech library is filled with articles from John and it’s absolutely amazing what John brought to both the Corvette world, Z-28 world and the car industry as a whole. While never personally meeting John, I benefitted greatly from the articles he wrote and his replies to threads here and on the other forums. My thoughts and prayers are with John and his family. God bless.
