C3 Coupe Birdcage Windshield Frame

Hello,

Lots of views but no responses so I'm trying again. Can someone point me to the correct dimension for an early '69 Coupe (or where I might find it) - I need the vertical distance from the top of the a-pillar (windshield frame) down to the rocker panel? Mine has a bad previous repair (windshield frame not parallel to the rear roof hoop). It needs correcting but I need to know what the right dimension is. I don't find anything close in the AIM. Thank you!

Hi Phil,

I don't know if a '69 AIM is similar in this regard to a '67 AIM, but the '67 AIM UPC 1 BOLT WELD; Sheets C2 thru C5 give "Body Checking Dimensions". A "vintage" body shop may be able to help you decipher your situation - if you can find those check dimensions that applied to your '69 when it was new. Good luck!
