    Muncie Side Cover Finish

    Was the finish on the Muncie M20 and others all natural aluminium? I have seen pictures where the side cover was very Black looking plus the plate between the main case and tail piece. I just took mine out of car, 20 year since restoration and noticed the side cover was a bit on the dark side compared to the main case. When I first restored it I remember just cleaning it before a light coat of clear to help keep it looking nice.

              Some super T10's had black iron covers. I don't recall a Muncie with anything but an aluminum one.
