I buy mine from Fast Fish Auto Parts. I'm no way associated with them. There are other distributors also.

I'd contact the manufacturer on instructions on a "Normal R&R in the car". I'm sure you could snake it just like a two piece, but I'd contact them to get the real information, if you are interested.

This is what I'll be putting in my 63. Either the Fel-Pro or the real one. Don't forget to change the oil screen 55-S3.

I haven't been able to find the Fel-Pro 2912 (discontinued) or the GM 10121044 seal being sold new anywhere. Unless someone is able to give me a lead, it appears my choices are Fel-Pro 2900 as was mentioned in another thread, Fel-Pro BS 40013 which I have, or a 33 year old GM 10121044 in the original package on E-bay. Any recommendations on the best way to go? I prefer to stay with the standard 2 piece seal.

Did you try GM Parts Direct, they are showing PN 10121044 on their website so the PN should be active. Doesn't say if they have stock on hand.

Thanks. Yes, placed an order with them and the following day received a cancellation notice saying it was on back order with no known in stock date.

I went to the local NAPA store in New Hampshire for the Felpro part. They found one in a Texas NAPA store. I had to pay the shipping, but I got one.

I recently bought a Felpro BS 11829-1 rear main seal for a 70 350 from Rock Auto. Is there any reason to think that other Felpro seals are better?
