I have to change the speaker on my 67 A/C coupe I have read that it is a very PIA job such as having to pull the cluster. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Bill

Bill, What does the Service Manual say? I've not done this task but I'd think if the glove box was out it may be all you need.

With the glove box out, side panels off of both side it is not that bad on a non A/C car. Different story with an A/C car. If it is the original speaker have it re cone

the gauge cluster doesn't need removal. just glove box, clock, radio(helpful but not 100% necessary) and radio side panels. the A/C duct in the middle of the dash needs removal also. about a 3 hour job for my old sorry ass. mike

Thanks all ! I just put a refurbished radio with wi fi in hoping it was the problem but no it is the speaker. I tried a new speaker after installing radio and it works. So I will proceed as instructed.
