Does anyone have a rubber stamp to re-apply the " C J " on the face of a small block fan clutch? Cleaned my clutch and accidently removed the stamp. Would appreciate a sample from a stamp if anyone has one, or a photo of the real thing with some dimensions so that I may have a stamp made. Thanks!

John:
Try this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fan-Clutch-...EAAOSwcJVeDmk6
I do not know the quality of the stamp, but it is likely close to what is needed/original.

Re: Looking for "C J" rubber stamp for Switzer fan clutch for 66 small block
John,
A few years ago I had a "EATON CJ" fan clutch dated "L27G" and fan that was correct for a 1967 Corvette w/AC.
I started a thread entitled "Ink stamp date code on 67 Fan-Clutch". Jerry also has an original CJ fan-clutch with a much better photo. Attached is a link below.

Thank you all for the comments. I just finished reading the latest Restorer magazine with the article Mike mentioned. It was (well) written by Joe Tripoli. Unfortunately I have no idea how to contact Joe. Perhaps someone reading this thread will provide contact information or maybe Joe will respond. I have the original, dated clutch and stupidly destroyed the CJ marking while cleaning. Trying to make amends for my mistake!- Top

go to the "Members" drop down arrow at the top - 6 over from the left
at the bottom of that drop down, it has "member list"
click on that and then type in "Tripoli" in the member search window - he comes up in that search
click on his name and there will be a "send email" link there for you...good luckthx,

Re: Looking for "C J" rubber stamp for Switzer fan clutch for 66 small block
This afternoon Joe Tripoli called. We had a nice conversation and Joe noted that Long Island Corvette did in fact sell a "CJ" rubber stamp for the fan clutch face. Joy! Well the joy lasted only a short time as an internet search showed they no longer sell such a stamp. Called Joe and told him the sad news. He graciously offered to look in his "stash" of parts and if one was there he would photograph it along with a ruler so a stamp could be made. Now that is a great offer! A later search turned up the "CJ" stamps for sale by Pace Car Jeff, so we ordered one. 14.00$ plus the ride to Illinois. So all seem to be in order. Will call Joe in a few minutes so he can call of the search, but wanted to thank all of you for the help and give a special thanks to Joe Tripoli for his generosity and help.- Top
