Kenneth if 2 push rods were damaged, were they bent? A bent push rod would result in a loose rocker. Maybe that's what's happened?

IMO replace rocker arm nut. More likely than not it will back off again "if" it is the problem. I have never reused nuts once backed off. Just IMO after 40 years of building big blocks

Anytime you back off rocker studs nut after threading them on will backoff , rocker nuts lose there grip, i alway rec. new rocker nuts when ever you remove them, pull the push rods see if they roll good on flat surface , do a leak down on that cylinder that the rocker was loose to see if you bent any valves, if no leakage is found install 2 new pushrod with new nuts adjust valves, then you can do a Compression test on that Cylinder and watch how the rocker move up and down compression test will tell you if the there a bad cam lobe.
