1957 owners manual

My Neighbor , a widow ,knowing I am into corvettes asked me what her 1957 owners manual is worth > It is brand new and says 4th addition on the second page .That makes me think it's a repop, but what do I know ? Other than that how do I know if it is an original or a repop ?? It is for sale if it is worth anything , and neither her or I can use it .

Jim,

4th Edition was heavily repopped. Check the picture that shows the entire cockpit. If the brake/clutch/accelerator pedals are highly visible, then it's real. If the pedals are faint, then it's a repop.

If it's real, check the selling prices on e-bay.

Thanks for bursting our bubble ! I did check on e bay before I asked the question and saw the swing from $15 to $300 dollars .That's why I asked you guys.
Unfortunately , I can barley make out the gas pedal, and can't even see the brake and clutch pedals . Bummer !
