1964 FI air cleaner on Ebay, upside down decal

Hi all, neat picture of a 64 FI air cleaner assembly on Ebay, what is interesting is it has its original decal, which is installed upside down. Look in Nolands C2 book at the 64 FI air cleaner with its decal upside down, they're identical in how they are mounted. Just why these are like that is a mystery.

But the price is only $417/month - that's the bargain, not sure what the $10,000 amount is all about?

oh must be the final purchase price, I think - can only deal with the monthly cost, remember when a car
had a price tag, now it's only the monthly cost. Naturally the monthly cost is almost what the entire car used to be.

They are no longer reproduced. Usually they seem to go for around $6000.

I haven’t seen a reasonably complete air cleaner for sale in years let alone one for $6,000.
Almost seems that the Air Cleaners are worth more than the Complete Units.

Yep, the clamps look original, have the dark stripes running around the bands, I've got a couple, guess I can sell them and go on a World Cruise or something?

Does anyone actually reproduce the correct AC decal. I just took some pics of it.
Yes the hose clamps are super rare although not very attractive.
These original air cleaners are drying up. Fuel injection units readily available but not the AC.

A good friend that has parts told me yesterday $5000 plus $1000 for the S-tuble.
