    C1 1956-60 Seat Track Finish

I have done lots of searching in archives and can find how to restore the seat tracks and it appears that they are all cad plated including the mounting brackets that are riveted to the tracks. I know for sure the rails are cad plated but checking on the mounting brackets. I have a set that are in pretty decent condition and they look to be all cad plated.

    Thanks
    Sheldon

    Hi Sheldon,

All of mine have been cad-plated, other than the adjustment arm, which is chrome. You can carefully bend the crimps back to get the arm out for chroming, or you can have the whole assembly cad-plated and then do a really good polish on the arms, depending on the application. They are attached to the seat frame with cad L & TR bolts, which no one sees, and to the floor with black, shoulder head E bolts.

Thanks Bob. Yes I will take the Chrome levers off and replace them also.
