Finish of Bolt and Retainer Holding Speedometer Bullet in Transmission

What is the finish of the bolt and retainer that hold the speedometer bullet in a Muncie 4 speed transmission in a 70?

    Thanks,
    Allen

I think the retainer is bare metal. Not sure about the bolt.

Bolt is 1/4-20 X 5/8" with captured split lockwasher. Untrimmed head ("indented") and zinc plated.
