Re: Mid year and FLAPS
This has turned out to be quite an entertaining thread. I sure have gotten an education. I am an engineer by education so tend to interpret everything literally. So when I came to hear the term mid year...especially without capitals...I figured...middle of the year....of production....then it seemed to apply differently so I thought...middle years of a decade...which btw three through seven are exactly that..basically. I think post #6 explains it best. That being said...if "mid year" refers to 1963 to 1967 Corvettes ...and that alone and only...it is actually a proper noun...getting out of my strong suit here...and so should be capitalized as Mid Year. But what do I know. I will let you know if I ever hear of someone refer to a mid year Ford Focus!! ;-)
