    Lowest known 1967 L-71 serial #.

I added this to a previous post regarding C-2 engine stampings, but I think it has gotten overlooked. Is anyone aware of the lowest known serially numbered 1967 Corvette roadster to have the L-71 option ? If possible to share, what is that sequential production # ? Thanks.

Yes. I thought all C-2's were produced in St. Louis.

Well, there have been some 1967 L71s known to have been produced other places.........

You are aware the '67 L71 is the most "cloned" Corvette in existence, right?

Yes I am aware, but I've come across a C-2, L-71, with a serial number in the low 300's. Just trying to get a better idea of exactly where the car fits in with other known early L-71's.

Interesting. I would be curious to see if a registry of some kind exists with that kind of information.

I notice in the C2 registry, they show a VIN #10 as the first L71 listed. And then #108 is next.

Thank you very much. Not as rear as I thought.

Henry - I have kept a log of 1963-1967 vin numbers and engine assembly numbers for years
                      I show that serial #88, #106, and #173 were all L71's.

Today you need solid history documentation to back up you have a real L71
