66/67 390hp Air Cleaner Base - How to tell an original?

Trying to figure out if a spare air cleaner base I have is an original. What are the tell tell signs of an original vs repro? 66/67 390hp, no smog.

    Here are pics.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Dave, I have some real original 66 sb and 65 396 and 66 bb only bases on the flea site. Find them under uncle427 screen name. Compare the pics, be sure you click on description to open to more pics 👍 yours is a 67-up. The tooling was modified across the board as these bases were used on other models and some of those were used with a quadrajet and it was found extra clearance was needed to accommodate linkage differences.

Dave, as well you probably know I have a few and have posted pics on the forum in the years past. The one I have on the same site Bill mentions has the original GM paint, so details are clearer, especially for one familiar with the bases that - A. Have been modified to look like a 65 66 base, B. Are GM parts from the 70s, C. GM 80s parts, or D. Later reproductions.

Bottom line the part you have is not a 65 66, thus 67 and or later and there are not enough detail to tell you more than that. Did you strip this and repaint?

        Thanks Guys.

I did not strip and repaint, believe the previous owner did. I don't have reason to believe it's a repro but looking to see if I can confirm my thought that it's original. I know the seam is one way to tell which looks good to me.

        Thanks,
        Dave
