More details. Looks like the muffler came out of Germany or ?. SCHMELZER

But just did a quick google-up and it says a Ohio company may have made them? That S symbol may be them? Ref here.

What does that stamping represent, a serial # or date code of some sort? 06171A

I know nothing about K19 details so I'm learning.

The stylized "S" logo definitely represents Saginaw. For example, you'll note the same symbol on the side of 1963-82 steering boxes.

There were other AIR pump configurations used than just the ones shown here. The "32-400" style was used for 1976-79 Corvettes. I don't see any of the 1966-67 or 1968-75 Corvette pumps.

There is no I.D. number cross reference or illustration letter listed for Cardone part # 32-104.

The 1966 and 1967 AIR pumps were different. 1966 used pump GM #5697255. 1967 used pump GM #7800308. I'm not sure what the difference was, though. I believe that the 1966 pump had a "T" outlet fitting off of the pump body. The 1967 pump MIGHT have had two "L"-shaped fittings off the pump body.

The 1967 pump replaced the 1966 pump for SERVICE in November, 1968. Both pumps were unique to Corvette and were not used for any other GM applications. None of the pumps pictured in Richard's post or your Cardone reference are the 1966-67 Corvette pumps.

Thanks everyone. I was hoping it was for Corvette as I would've passed it on to whoever needed it. As it is now I'll likely find some EType purist who may want it along with the entire emissions system being removed from the engine.
