        Bob,

AMK sells them in black phosphate, but their minimum order is $30, plus $10 S&H. So, not cheap

I don't think you have to look too much further to find less than $5 kits with the correct parts.

Due to criticizms of the suppliers by some - the love hate for many on the forum - I will not post any more, email me from your control panel.

                Robert,
A/C heater box or non-A/C heater box?

                Non-A/C heater box nuts...

                A/C heater box nuts...

                  Leif,

I wonder if the Pal nuts in LIC kit 37-03 are accurate reproductions of the two GM nuts that Bib asked about. The reason I say that is the following. If the ANK specs are correct then the OD of GM 9419845 should be 85% (= 0.69/0.82) of the OD of GM 446069. If you scale the nuts in the LIC kit you get a ratio of 0.75. The two LIC nuts are more dissimilar in size. So who is right? LIC or AMK?

I got a heater box rebuild kit from Doc Rebuild last year and I believe he had the correct PAL nuts. I think he is closed during this pandemic.

                      Bob,

I think a lot of people are hoping and waiting for Doc Rebuild to come back online. He has some parts that are more correct if not totally correct that some of the other companies fall short on.

For the Pal nuts, if AMK Products sells correct ones, then, in my opinion, there is no excuse for the main Corvette repro parts companies not to sell correct kits. Other than cutting corners to cut costs.
