I'm finishing up the restoration of my Early 69 435 M-22 Convertible. It's been interesting since I have a Benchmarked 17k mile 69 that was built in the last two weeks of production and this car is the first two weeks, lots of differences. Anyway, the rocker panels I ordered came in Grey, not black. The manufacturer said that Grey was original, I said Black and the that the grey must be a primer. What do you recommend to spray it with? Is there a template or diagram to drill it? Thanks, Rich

If you're referring to the panels that run on the lower body between wheel wells on either side, I have NOS panels and they are gray fiberglass. They were either painted black at St. Louis or were delivered to St. Louis already painted.
I re-painted mine years ago and they came out PERFECT. Unfortunately, I don't recall what I used.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
