    '57 Ignition Coil Design

What is the difference between the original 091 coil and one that is described as a type 2 design. We found one that says it is a Type 2 design. As far as we can tell, all the pics look like the one in the judging handbook.

    Salvador,
The early (57) style 091 coil does not have the tabs located at the base of the coil tower to aid in keeping the coil pos/ distributor wires from turning when tightened.
