1967 BB (L68 400HP) Rebuild Recommendation
Looking for a recommendation on a quality, trusted shop for rebuilding my L68 400HP engine. I'm in northeast Florida, so something within a couple of hundred miles would be best (North or Central Florida/South Georgia). I have been coordinating with Scotty's Racing Technology in Spring Hill, FL, but in the last two weeks his communications have gotten questionable ... maybe backlogged, stalling (when 3 weeks ago he said he can turn it around in 10 days), just making me a bit concerned. Looking for alternatives. Anyone in North or Central Florida/South Georgia that has a good repuation and track record, and some familiarity with this work? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I have a great engine builder in Concord NC, but out of your geographic preference. He rebuilt my L36, L78, and a Mopar 440 for me. If you want his name let me know. -

Hi Lawrence ... thanks so much for responding. I actually found a reputable guy within about 30 miles who has quite a bit of Corvette, racing, and coincidentally Mopar 440 experience. If something falls through, I may reach out. North Carolina is a bit further, but not out of the question if reputable and experienced. Much appreciated!Comment
