Restoring a 66 Coupe with a very very early assembly date. Car was assembled in the 1st two weeks of Sept.1965.
Both mirrors have no dates on them. I'll assume the outside rear view mirror was changed at some point during the
cars life for whatever reason. The inside mirror(Standard>Not Day/Night) is a real puzzle for me. It has no date on it. Just can't imagine why it would have been changed out but who really knows. Question:Could it be a 65 mirror
from the factory? Don't have a judging manual for the 65's to know if ALL MIRRORS where date coded in 1965.
Can anybody verify this? Or is it possible that ALL 1966 inside standard mirrors where not date coded? At any rate will send them to the mirrorlady to get coded properly if needed. Thanks in
