    C2 Fan Shroud

I wanted some opinions on doing some minor repairs on a Original 67 BB Fan shroud
some chips and a small strip is broken at the bottom
What materials are best, mat, resin etc 4A0A9A4D-BB62-4E6C-9D20-76B7CAAC5610.jpg

Enzo, I noticed that you haven't received a response on this. Can you be a little more specific (maybe some close up photos) of what you are inquiring about? There are a few different forms of resin/fiberglass to choose from based on your application. You have the usual fiberglass mat that is soaked in resin and hardener and them laid down and recently I discovered a Bondo brand jelly that has fiber shreds already in the resin and it is used for smaller repairs. I have not tried the jelly, but the dry time is about 2 minutes and might be useful based on what you need. Might also be advisable to just leave it alone if it's not too bad.

Ed, very interesting idea. Does the JB adhere to the existing fiberglass well? Depending on the size of the patch, this could work really well. Not to steal Enzo''s thread, I am looking for ideas on how to recreate the bottom tabs on a '67 small block shroud. Most of them you see are broken off, so poor original design, but I may incorporate your JB idea somehow.

Garry, yes JB weld works very well a and is stronger than fiberglass.

I should say to take a little sand paper and rough up a little.
