    63 Dash Pads

About 10 years ago I replace my 63 saddle dash pads with a set from Al Knoch. Now I'm staring at this set in the basement and wondering what to do about them. I've seen skins that you put over the old, but they just look fake. Does anyone restore them to where they are acceptable?

    Cheers

Yes, those are terrible! I'll give you $25.00 each for those if you will pay the shipping.

Harry, if you know someone in the vinyl repair business they may be able to repair. If there just cracks should be able to do. If there missing big chunks for get it.

Maybe call Al Knoch, talk to Melanie, and see if they "reskin" them. I traded my old 63 pads to a friend for his restomod because I didn't want to mess with reskinning them. Not a job I wanted to tackle..

As to repairing decades old, sun-faded, brittle vinyl....mmm.... been there, done that....won't do it again.
