    1965 Tires

    Looking to see if anyone knows what would be the tallest , widest tires can be used on the rear with no alterations on a 1965 .

      215/70R15 is about it on 6" KOs and '67 Rally or aluminum wheels all of which have +0.03" offset (including adapters on KOs).

      The previous 5.5" steel wheels (+0.44" offset) offer a bit more outside clearance and 5.5" is the minimum width wheel recommended for a 215/70.
