On my 60 the positive post and cable end are very clean. I just twist the cable end off and on the battery post. In the "off" position the cable is placed over the battery hold down bolt. Simple and cheap. The cable has never vibrated loose.

I have used the black screw type for 20+ years on over 15 cars with zero issues. I see no reason to change.
