You left out one big detail in slamming Chevy and Zoras' team....engineering and manufacturing technical capability for it to survive!!!

Yes, and I think Titus was throwing shade on GM and Chevrolet, since he was a member of Carroll Shelby's team (which earlier had picked up most all of Zora's racers) for reneging on their promises and hype about a monster V8 to challenge Ford racing. My read of the tea leaves was that an L88 was planned as a Regular Production Option in 1966 (not a few one-off racing engines for their professional racers) but for some reason (money? executive cold feet on racing?, etc.) they cancelled that plan long before the start of the '66 MY. The M22 and probably J56 were just leftovers.

and re the M22 per the secret society, only 15 were built in 1966 and no one knows here they are...

and I can't count the number of times I've seen red paint on SHP developmental engine parts or options delayed because they failed in durability testing.

If not mistaken one of the 1966 M22 J56 cars sold within the last 10 years. I believe it was a race car since new and when it traded it was white with purple and gold lettering .
