    Howard Cams

I'm researching cam and lifter kits plus springs and for 300hp. Someone suggested I look into Howard cams. I talked to a rep today and he was very helpful. The cam is a replacement for the 3896929. Cam is Parkerized. Any opinions on Howard products would be appreciated. Thanks

they have been around for a long time.i had one of their roller cams in a 394 Olds in the early 60's had no trouble with it. sold the 419 ci Olds( the 394 was 125" over). the guy bought it and put it in a speed boat. it sank in deep creek lake in western md and rests there to this day. mike

Ironically just today a customer called and said he had a Howard cam in his 1964 Corvette with fuel injection.
You just don't hear that name much in our hobby do you. John
