Does anyone have a picture showing where the spare tire tub was date stamped.

I have a lot to learn, and I am not aware that 1969 tire tube are dated. I have seen some with a Rockwell tag embedded in the fiberglass & that tag has a date on it. Those tags do not appear on all or even most tire tubs, but that sounds different than a date stamp.

The 6th edition '68-'69 TIMJG has a photo on page 256 Fig. Ch 10.2 of an ink stamp. It's a tight shot and looks to me like it's between the "V"-brace on the lid (carrier) - not the tub (housing) - but I'm not sure...dunno if the '68/'69 tubs also received an ink-stamp or not...

Hi Terry-Have 69 307xx(I ordered the car)-could not find a ink stamp,even though car is low mileage and very original- has embossed numbers (48173) and (2457001) in the spare tire lock area though.
