Re: 63 hubcap restoration
That's tough...you can buy the spokes and center cap in reproduction form, the platters ? Afraid not.
At one time I heard Andy Cannizzo was doing them, then I heard he'd stopped - worth checking on though.
And it wasn't cheap, like $300 a cap. I took some used ones to a popular metalsmith in Bunnell, FL and he wouldn't touche 'em. Apparently the rims are a PITA to "unding". Others here may have more insidghts.- Top

Geary, this is a wallet testing question. The reproduction spinners and bars cost about $750.00. You can install theses yourself. There are shops that will remove dents and polish the stainless steel pans. Depending on how bad they are you could be looking at $100.00 per pan. Now you are at $1150.00. I believe to have the original bars and spinners redone is the same $$$ as the reproduction parts.
As I recall the pans were flash chromed. When they get polished the flash chrome is removed, never to return.
I used Brightworks Restoration in Fall River, MA to do my pans.
Good luck
