Storing my 67 up on jack stands

I plan is to put the jack stands under the front shocks at the lower A arm. The rear stands will under the control arm beneath the axle. This way the suspension bushes won't get stressed if the wheels/tires were to just hag off the floor in the air.
    Comments please.

Not really a lot of work. Plus it's time for its annual brake fluid flush, scrub the inboard sides of the tires and wheels, chassis lube.
Plus, no flat spots on tires in the spring.
The Vette has its own heated 3 car garage/shop where I get to play in the daytime during winter.

Shouldn't be a problem, but with the wheels off the bushings shouldn't be that stressed.

I used to block my 59 in NH in winter 34 years ago when I first got it. After about 3 years I stopped, cuz one winter had a gorgeous Jan weekend and couldn't take it for a ride. Stopped blocking it, but of course never good weather later. Go figure.

So for the remaining 31 years on all fours and never a problem. Any bias ply flat spots round themselves out quickly on first drives.

14 years here in FL off road all hot summers and don't block it here either. And as mentioned, if a fire in the garage or other emergency, I could just push it out the door pronto.

Why bother? Pay heed to the comment about not having the car quickly mobile.

Racking my brain to think of one valid reason to do this. I can't come up with one.

As a compromise Race Ramps makes their "Flatstopper" tire rests for long term storage; tires stay on the car and sit in a rounded ramp and easily driven off. $189 for 4; too rich for my blood for a minor issue IMO, but then there are those that store their cars all winter in one of those inflated clear plastic "snow globes".

I drive all of my cars year round in the Northeast. Best for the car and me.
