    1969 Corvette Gas Tank Support Bar/Shifter To Frame Bracket Bolts

    The bolt 9418821 is used for both the gas tank support bar and the shifter to frame bracket. In the data I have found for this bolt it states it is 3/8"-16X7/8", Grade 8 and Zinc plated yet the judging manual states the attaching hardware for the gas tank support bar is zinc but the bolt is phosphate. Any thoughts.

      GM part #9418821 is 3/8-16 x 7/8 phosphate coated GM 4435-M code A spec.
