What is BSSG? .... Baking Soda Super Glue - Just my name for the process.
The last time I was in my 2007 coupe shifter area to repair something I must have been a little too harsh and impatient. I hadn't realized I broke some of the plastic on both the center console base and the passenger side fascia until I got in there again recently.
I've had good results using this plastic repair method for many years. Here is the method I use.
DAP gel, Baking Soda, liquid. I use a combination of both glues for the repairs.

This is the right side console fascia which is attached to the center console with 2 screws and clips to the dash area. The corner broke off.

First I used the gel to reattach the broken piece. Backside showing the crack.

I then drip some liquid over the repaired crack and dust some baking soda over it. I add more liquid and soda until I get a gusseted area covered. The soda acts as a filler and a curing media. i.e. absence of air. I also found another small broken piece below the screw hole and used the same method for that repair.

Placement area showing where fascia trim attaches to the console. That area was cracked too. Same repair process used.

First I filled with the gel and pressed together until bonded.

Then the soda and liquid in stages until built up for strength. I had to trim some of it for clearance of the fascia trim fit.

Another area where the radio console attaches in the center console storage area.

After repairs and trims reattached.

Most of my trouble was because I didn't remove the E-Brake boot housing. It is held in with snap clips. This needs to be removed first to gain access to the trim fascia that I broke previously.

Black tabs of the boot housing fit into these slots and the clips snap into other slots shown above.

Boot to handle detail.

Completed reassembly.
