1963 Power Brake Hose valve adapter/elbow

I'm looking for this adapter/elbow that goes into the rear of the carburetor and the power brake hose that runs from the booster to this valve. LICC and Paragon doesn't have it and I'm looking for a source. Another question is this is this the same adapter/elbow that goes into the rear of the plenum on a fuel injected car?

    Thanks

Before you click at LIC let me check I know I may have several originals of those lying around. I'll check out back in the garage after sunup.* If I do I'll send you one gratis. Call it a trade for that '62 HL gear you sent me.

*(gotta watch out for gators and feral hogs this time of year. Gators around from all the rainwater ponds and live-oak tree acorns in piles everywhere so the hogs come around too. Had about 25 of them visit me one night when I went outside)

Had to walk the spaniel, no critters out so I went in the shop and found the bag of extra fittings. I used a similar setup on or 63 but it had aftermarket AC so IIRC I took the original piece off and used a different setup on the 300hp carb to accommodate the extra tap.

...something about that hose clamp on the PVC isn't right IIRC

Is what you need like that LIC 22-13k? I have a set. Likely originals due to the manufacturer stamping. W and a arrow going through it inside a hexagon. And some other unique stampings on the inline adapter. I forget what they depict.

Let me know if something is what you need and I can get it out to you later when I head out for errands.

PS LIC doesn't show this for FI, only carb.

Yes, FI is a different part.

                Rich,

The valve set-up in your pictures appears to be what I need. Thanks!

To be candid, I don't really know which one to choose. LICC says the part comes in two pieces and the pictures of the back of the carburetor on your engine appears to be what I need for the PB booster on a 340 HP car.

Maybe other replies will help me sort the need out.

In the engine photo above it looks like there is an extra vacuum at the back of the carburetor and the engine is set up for a power glide so I am guessing it is for the transmission. I don't think that is the correct location for a 63 vacuum line to be hooked up. I think for the transmission it is supposed to be a tee at the vacuum advance can at the distributor which then runs to the front of the carburetor. The fitting at the PVC looks to be the correct shape but it should only have the PVC connection and the vac line for the booster.

Bob, Yes that's the wife's '63 and yes a PG. The vac line pipe for the dist VAC and PG modulator valve was stock. If you look closely it's there from the front of the AFB, then to pass side intake area, then a clip to hold the pipe, then the hose, then the pipe to the MV with the T going to the VAC, then on to the MV at the PG.

That rubber line off the back of the AFB brass block PCV/Booster adapter goes to the aftermarket Hot Rod Air AC system that was in the car when we got it. But they had a weird pipe scheme there(pics). IIRC that adapter I got later when dressing up the engine bay was used on a factory C60 setup so I used that for the modern AC unit.

                        Before.....hard to see the weirdness.

This is what they had.... I just couldn't live with that.

                        Then I got this.

Had a '67 MC with front disk conversion too.

Jerry sorry we got off track a bit.....

I don't have my '63 AIM handy. Does it give the adapter part# for the L76 with J50? I'd think it'd be in the J50 section with a note about L76, etc, or maybe vice-versa.

Let me know I have it reserved for you.

I believe I need the elbow as indicated in the LICC Catalogue part #22-13K. Here's a picture. Do you have one like this?
