I have a set of NOS pads imprinted with DELCO 220FG 5460803 however the number is so old or is not a cataloged number I can't really get a good reference as to what their original application or composition happens to be - they are not sintered metal however there are flakes of metal - copper, brass tones, as well as bright silver- evenly distributed across the pads 25 to 30pcs/ sq inch the other sets I have are marked 601FF and there is no appearance of flakes or shavings or twists of metal in them.
I know the FG is the cold hot ratings and G is the best this side of carbon carbon- research indicates 220 is a formulation number, however I cannot locate any information regarding that number either.
They are for a 4 piston caliper - but not corvette.
