Cutting out Bottom of R59 battery to accomodate an Optima,etc.

I remember in one of my NCRS mags, there was an article where two individuals posted how they cut the bottom out of a dead R59 battery and installed an Optima or some other AGM type battery. Does anyone have a copy of the article they could email to me.
I can't seem to find it.

Great articles and right in line with my post earlier today about a source for a correct 69 battery. Has anyone ever done with an R79 side mount battery?
